Corporate Harp Violin L’Occitane Eaton Centre…Hey the gig is not over until the social networking uploads, blogs, mentions, and hash tags sing. That’s what it sometimes feels like in our need (okay my need) to get it all on record. I just love playing. In this case harp and violin at the Eaton Centre just re-confirms how much I love this city! I mean it is electric!
Fashion, hip, cool, can certainly describe some of those that sauntered on by the new store L’Occctaine this past weekend. Sophisticated, fun, happy, surprised, and colorful could also be thrown in as descriptions of others that stopped to say hello. I even had the chance to meet the girl who has hosted the longest-running daytime talk show for women in Canadian history Tracy Moore. The talented, smart, and beautiful host of “Cityline” Yup, hanging out with the celebs ha ha! Thanks for taking the time Tracy I’m an instant new fan.
We now take a little break in the action for some video from some of the fun we all had on Sunday:
But in between people holding hands, canoodling, eyeing or winking at me for a photo-op one thing was abundantly clear… A real and true sense of happiness. Now I know it’s summer, the sun is out, deals galore at the Eaton Centre (nice looking harpist, violinist entertaining the masses wink wink) and people are generally in a good mood but… this is something I’ve noticed at an increasingly noteworthy rate ever since I moved here from Dubai two and a half years ago. For the most part folks here just seem to be… happier! Cheerful, polite.
Whatever the reasons the positive vibes all around meant the grand opening was a big success for L’Occctaine en Provence and may I highly recommend dropping by for a bit of a touch up or two. As for all those enjoying this bright and fun summer…Have I told you lately how much I love Toronto!
A little photo gallery here to see the interaction of shoppers, kids, and the girl on the violin and harp:
