The new speaker in action! Over the years I’ve been asked to set up my electric violins and electric harps in some unusual settings. The upper level of the ballroom in the Burj Al Arab Dubai, out in the middle of a pond on a little floating platform. (Everything was wireless) On top of the racing paddock at a racetrack, the harp inside the bubble on the balcony of a hotel. Even playing a grand piano on the finished foundation of the world’s tallest building before they started construction upwards. I’ve been lucky to take part in all of these but they did have their own unique challenges for setup plus just try and look elegant in a construction zone?
It’s why I’ve invested in two rather small unassuming but powerful enough sound systems. They can be setup just about anywhere but they don’t get in the way of the theme of the event. They can be plugged in or they can run on a battery. The point is you can still have the electric instruments with all the pomp of your selected backing tracks just about anywhere !
The beautiful backdrop is Lake Ontario. The Beaches area in east end Toronto. The idea was to test out the new speaker in an outdoor setting. Sure there is a hint of wind and waves on the audio of this video but the speaker performed flawlessly. So if it’s on a beach, the 18th hole, the backyard, the bowling alley, or the go-kart track (hey it’s happened before honestly) or in the botanical gardens in your town? I can set up the electric violin or the electric harp WITH backing tracks just about anywhere. Elena Musician: Toronto Wedding & Corporate Event Musician
